BSNL is waiving the installation charge for its broadband service for its landline subscribers. BSNL is also bundling 5GB of data per day at speeds of up to 10Mbps.
If you have a BSNL landline connection and have been looking forward to a broadband Internet connection, then there's good news for you. BSNL is offering its broadband service for free to existing BSNL landline connection subscribers along with some data benefits. The offer stands for all the circles where BSNL is present and all one has to do is call BSNL's toll-free number to avail the benefit.
BSNL has been quite aggressive in the telecom sector with its recharge plans for mobile subscribers. With this broadband offer, the company is extending its benefits for landline subscribers. All subscribers need to do is call this tollfree number -- 18003451504 and apply for the registration of the broadband service. Once the registration is done, the broadband connection will installed at the subscribers' registered address.
With the broadband connection, BSNL is also clubbing in some data benefits for subscribers. After installation, the subscriber will be entitled to 5GB of data per month, post which it would be required to pay. BSNL will be offering the 5GB data at a speed of 10Mbps. Do note that the usage charges aren't free. BSNL has only waived off the installation charges for the broadband connection. Subscribers will still have to pay for any data usage above the given limit.
If you are a BSNL broadband user and are looking for new offers, then you can avail another offer where BSNL was offering 25 per cent cashback on subscribing for the annual plans. The scheme was originally meant to be available till December 31, 2018, but BSNL extended the offer until March 31, 2019. Therefore, if you want to avail the cashback, you can go for one of the annual packs for broadband services within the next 15 days.
BSNL is also offering several deals on its recently introduced services. Those who are interested in getting the BSNL Bharat Fibre service can avail a year's free subscription of Amazon Prime Video. The Bharat Fiber service was launched in January and is in direct competition to Reliance's Jio GigaFiber service.
Apart from the Bharat Fiber, BSNL is also going on the footsteps of Reliance Jio and offered free voice calls for its entire existing subscriber within India under the BSNL wings service. BSNL Wings uses Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) to carry on the communication, similar to how Jio's network functions.
